The first mistake many make is performing Wudoo improperly. Wudoo is essential for the validity of Salah. Rushing through it, with mere splashes of water, is not sufficient. Each limb must be washed thoroughly, leaving no spot dry. Remember, this is your preparation to stand before the King of Kings. Take your time and ensure that your Wudoo is complete, as a broken Wudoo results in a broken prayer.
Every prayer includes the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha, yet many do not pronounce it correctly. Mispronouncing words can change their meanings, which is a serious issue when you are speaking to Allah. Sujud, the act of prostration, is the most sacred part of your prayer. It is the moment when you are closest to Allah. Additionally, men should ensure their pants do not drag below their ankles, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whatever is below the ankles is in the fire." Delaying prayer in favor of work, games, or social media is another mistake. The Prophet (peace be upon him) emphasized that the most beloved deed to Allah is prayer at its proper time.
