In a series of interviews with prominent exorcists, a common theme emerges: the need for urgency in addressing spiritual and societal issues. Despite positive developments in the world, exorcists warn against complacency and emphasize the importance of prayer, fasting, and awareness of the spiritual battles we face today.
Welcome, everyone. Doug Barry here, and I appreciate you joining me for this important discussion. Recently, I had the privilege of interviewing several key exorcists through the US Grace Force podcast, including Monsignor Rosetti, Monsignor Pope, Father Chad Ripperger, and Father Dan Rehill. While each of these interviews covered various topics, a significant and alarming consensus emerged regarding the state of our world and the spiritual urgency we face.
In light of recent positive developments in society, often referred to as the "Trump effect," many people are feeling hopeful. However, we must remember that hope in secular matters does not negate the warnings from heaven. The messages from the Blessed Mother, particularly from approved apparitions, remain consistent and urgent. We cannot afford to become complacent or overly comfortable, thinking that everything will be okay simply because we see some improvements in our world.
The Blessed Mother has delivered messages that emphasize the need for vigilance and action. These messages have not changed over time, and they remind us that we must not let our guard down. Heaven has never promised that electing the right leaders will eliminate the need for vigilance. Instead, we must actively engage with these warnings and understand their implications for our lives.
The exorcists I interviewed shared a common concern: we are becoming too relaxed and losing our sense of urgency. Monsignor Charles Pope articulated this well, stating that there is a lack of urgency in the Church today. Many people approach their faith with a sense of complacency, believing that they will ultimately be saved without the need for serious engagement with their spiritual lives.
This complacency can lead to a dangerous mindset where individuals dismiss the reality of hell and the need for prayer and sacramental life. Monsignor Pope pointed out that many people think, "Why bother?" when it comes to attending Mass or engaging in spiritual practices. This attitude is concerning, especially when we consider the spiritual ramifications of drifting away from God.
The exorcists urge us to take action. They emphasize the importance of prayer, fasting, and participation in the sacraments. Even if you feel you are already doing these things, consider what more you can do. Incremental steps can lead to significant spiritual growth. For example, if you currently pray a rosary, consider adding another one or increasing your time in adoration.
Recent headlines highlight the fragility of our world, from potential agricultural terrorism to health warnings and environmental disasters. These events serve as reminders that we must remain vigilant and aware of the spiritual battles we face. The exorcists agree that many have drifted from God, as evidenced by declining Mass attendance rates. Before the pandemic, attendance was around 20-23%, and it has dropped significantly since then.
Another critical point raised by the exorcists is the impact of technology on our spiritual lives. With the rise of AI and the internet, the potential for sin and temptation has increased exponentially. Young people today have access to harmful content that can undermine their faith. This reality calls for a renewed commitment to spiritual vigilance and action.
In conclusion, we are living in urgent times. The messages from heaven are clear, and we must respond with seriousness and commitment.
