An Iranian ex-Muslim shares a powerful testimony about the ongoing Christian revival in Iran, highlighting the growth of underground churches, divine encounters, and a prophetic vision for Iran to become a center of spiritual transformation. Despite challenges and opposition, this revival is seen as part of God's plan to bring truth and hope to Iran and the world.
Shalom, Salom, and greetings to all. I am an Iranian ex-Muslim, deeply moved and excited about the remarkable work God is doing in Iran. Over the past few years, there has been a significant surge in conversions to Christianity, especially within underground churches. These are not just religious institutions but communities rooted in truth, molded and prepared for a pivotal moment in history.
The biblical books of Esther and Daniel, which are profoundly connected to Persia (modern-day Iran), inspire this revival. The faithful courage and fearlessness depicted in these scriptures resonate with the current spiritual transformation happening in Iran. Believers in Iran are experiencing an overwhelming joy as they embrace the gospel and the true word of God, igniting a fire in their hearts that will radiate beyond their borders to Israel, the Jewish people, and ultimately the entire world.
Many Iranians have been disillusioned by religion due to oppression and false teachings. However, the Holy Spirit's work is unstoppable. Despite restrictions, the word of God is breaking through walls, manifesting to those earnestly seeking Jesus. This personal testimony is not foreign to me; I have experienced it firsthand.
My journey from Islam to Christianity involved supernatural experiences that transformed my life. When I first encountered Christ, I felt as if I was breathing for the very first time, a profound liberation by the Spirit of God. Without even having a Bible initially, I knew Jesus was the way and the truth, and this truth affected me deeply.
Many ex-Muslim believers like myself have encountered God through the Spirit, the word, visions, and dreams. These encounters fuel a passionate fire that will spread globally. The thirst for God's love and truth is insatiable, and once encountered, it cannot be stopped.
Recently, I felt a strong calling to return to Iran to preach the gospel, despite the dangers. As an outspoken ex-Muslim Christian who supports Israel, I am aware of the risks, including persecution and even death. Yet, I am willing to go because God has called me.
My ministry in Israel, working with Jewish and Muslim communities, has evolved, and I am preparing for this new season. Whether this involves direct evangelism or establishing a ministry, I trust God's guidance.
Earlier this year, God impressed upon my heart that this is the year of victory. Despite moments of doubt and feeling distant from God's promises, He reaffirmed that the time is now. This year will bring fulfillment of divine promises and breakthroughs for the body of Christ.
A profound dream I had in 2017 remains close to my heart. In it, I was lifted into a glorious presence surrounded by orbs of light, experiencing eternal life beyond human understanding. This vision symbolizes the joy and glory that come through enduring tribulations, echoing the biblical message in 2 Corinthians 4:17 about momentary troubles achieving eternal glory.
I firmly believe Iran will become the epicenter of revival for Jesus Christ. Despite its reputation as a desolate land, Iran is destined for a divine transformation. The Old Testament prophecy in Jeremiah speaks of God setting His throne in Ilam, a city in Iran, signaling a significant spiritual shift.
The nation’s history of oppression and bondage has been a refining fire, preparing its people for this moment. Even amidst political turmoil and unfulfilled promises from worldly leaders, hope remains anchored in God, the true King of Kings.
The revival in Iran is also setting the stage for challenging times ahead, including the rise of the antichrist. However, God’s presence and truth will be more evident than ever, especially through unexpected vessels—those once considered least likely to lead.
There is a caution against worshiping any human king or political leader. True freedom and salvation come only through Jesus Christ. The Iranian people, like many others, must surrender their national pride and cultural attachments to embrace the King of Glory fully.
To all who read this message, take heart and hold fast to the promises of God. Even if you feel distant or have missed opportunities, God’s timing is perfect. The revival in Iran is a testament to His power and faithfulness.
This movement will not only transform Iran but will also impact Israel and the entire world. The King of Kings is coming soon, and His glory will shine through the wounds and trials endured by His people.
Let us pray for Iran and the believers there, that they may be strong vessels for God’s work. May the truth of Jesus of Nazareth bring peace, love, and eternal hope to all.
Marinathon.
Peace and love and truth. Only truth. Jesus of Nazareth.
