TMA, also known as Habor City, was the first town planned on paper by Ghana's first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. As we prepare to board the train, the excitement is palpable, especially since this is my first time traveling by train in Ghana.
Upon arrival, we purchase our tickets for the first-class section of the train, which costs just 10 Cedis (approximately less than a dollar). The first-class experience promises more comfort with leather seats and better ventilation compared to the economy class, which we initially considered. The economy section, while cheaper at 8 Cedis, lacked proper ventilation and was quite noisy due to its proximity to the train's motor.
