I set out on my walk alone, as my companions were busy. The journey to the city center takes about 30 to 35 minutes. As I walk, I admire the beautiful river and the impressive bridges that span it. The trees lining the streets remind me of those in Madrid, tall and fluffy, creating a picturesque scene. Seagulls fly overhead, adding to the lively atmosphere.
As I explore, I can't help but compare my experiences in Spain to what I see in Rome. While Spain has its charm, I find that Rome has a different energy. The people here dress in a rather dull manner, reminiscent of styles I’ve seen in the Odessa region. The streets are bustling, but the overall vibe feels less affluent than what I experienced in Dubai.
Walking through the city, I notice the architecture and the character of the buildings. Many structures appear old and worn, with thick walls and unique designs. The streets are filled with simple cafes where locals gather, and I observe the casual atmosphere. The fashion sense of the locals seems understated, with many dressed in muted colors.
As I continue my walk, I encounter various historical buildings, some of which have been restored. The doors are enormous, sparking my curiosity about who might have entered these grand structures in the past. I ponder the history behind these buildings and the stories they could tell.
Reflecting on my time in Spain, I realize that I was perhaps spoiled by the vibrant energy and beauty of the people there. In Rome, while there are moments of beauty, they seem less frequent. The streets are filled with a mix of old and new, and I find myself drawn to the quaint cafes and the simple life of the locals.
As I walk, I notice the cobblestone streets, which remind me of those in Odessa. The ambiance is lively, yet there is a sense of weariness in the air. I encounter various shops and eateries, with people enjoying their meals outdoors. The streets are alive with chatter, and I feel a sense of connection to the city.
