One of the biggest surprises for us was how similar life in Bangkok is to living in the UK. We expected to give up many comforts, but we found that city life here mirrors what we are used to. There are running clubs, meetups, and plenty of opportunities to make friends. The routine we had at home could easily be maintained here.
