- Xbox says only one Series X-BITE exists, enclosing a functioning console in an alligator fabrication more than five feet long.
- The giveaway closes November 10; entry requires following Xbox and publicly reposting its promotion.
- Despite the playable hardware, Xbox recommends display use.
Microsoft’s gaming brand Xbox unveiled the Series X-BITE on November 3: what it says is a working Xbox Series X enclosed in a fabricated alligator, available to one sweepstakes winner. The oversized creature is a promotional collectible, with no retail release announced.
The distinction matters for anyone reading the name as a new console model. The Series X is Microsoft's games console that launched on November 10, 2020. Here, the novelty is the surrounding sculpture and matching controller. Xbox describes functioning Series X hardware inside it and discloses no performance upgrade.

Xbox credits creature and animatronics specialist John Nolan Studio with making the enclosure through 3D modeling, sculpting and fabrication. It cites the studio’s work on , and HBO’s upcoming series—a relevant background for building the surrounding creature.
