SEO-optimized blog articles are essential for marketing teams but often involve repetitive and time-consuming tasks. I automated this entire process using a single cloud skill that handles everything from topic discovery to publishing, making the workflow seamless and efficient.
The cloud skill I use automatically finds relevant topics, conducts deep web research, writes fully optimized SEO articles, captures screenshots of products or landing pages, and publishes the articles directly to marketing channels like WordPress. This automation ensures the content is not just AI-generated filler but is optimized for both Google and SEO best practices.
To demonstrate, I use this system for my 3D animation software called Tilted. The cloud skill can generate dozens or even thousands of blog articles daily at a minimal cost (as low as $5 per month).
The skill starts by automatically finding a topic to write about. For example, it selected a topic comparing Tilted with a competitor tool, creating a head-to-head comparison blog article.
Without any manual input, the skill performs deep web research to gather accurate data, pricing, and citations. It even fetches competitor logos to use in blog banners, enhancing the visual appeal.
To enrich the blog articles, the skill uses Agent Browser by Vercel, an open-source browser automation tool, to capture screenshots of both our platform and competitors'. This includes landing pages, feature highlights, pricing pages, and editor screenshots with custom animations applied to make each image unique and human-like.
The system reviews each screenshot to ensure quality, applying effects and retaking images if necessary. This process is token-efficient, saving up to 15 times more tokens compared to other automation tools.
A feature image (thumbnail) is generated for the blog post, incorporating the topic, tagline, and screenshots.
The cloud skill writes the entire SEO-optimized article, including:
The article is then published as a draft on WordPress using the WordPress CMS API, complete with meta descriptions, SEO titles, categories, and tags.
The draft is automatically opened in the browser for review. Once satisfied, the article can be published immediately, becoming publicly visible.
Using the Rank Math SEO plugin, the generated articles score around 88 out of 100, indicating strong SEO compliance. The plugin checks keyword density, meta descriptions, content length, and readability. Although keyword density may be slightly lower than ideal, this trade-off avoids repetitive keyword stuffing.
The articles also include proper citations to avoid plagiarism and improve credibility.
WordPress is used as the CMS and admin interface. It allows easy management of blog articles, plugins (like Rank Math SEO), users, and integrations. The cloud skill interacts with WordPress via an authentication token and API, enabling full automation from the command line without manual dashboard access.
Using Cloudways for blog hosting avoids the high costs and deployment overhead associated with hosting all blog content directly on Vercel. Each new blog post on Vercel would trigger a full redeployment, consuming build minutes and increasing costs.
The Next.js app uses ISR to fetch new blog articles from WordPress via GraphQL without triggering full redeployments. This ensures fast content updates and efficient resource usage.
